Getting to know Cameron Wicker

I am a Licensed Therapist in Massachusetts with experience in crisis intervention, trauma informed care, and a range of mental health settings. I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality related concerns. Many people come to therapy wanting both clarity and practical ways to feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions, and daily life. My approach is person centered and trauma informed, and I use CBT, DBT, and EMDR to support both symptom relief and deeper, lasting change. Our work focuses on building skills, increasing insight, and strengthening resilience in ways that are useful outside of the therapy room. Therapy with me is collaborative, direct, and paced to match your needs. My goal is to provide a space where you feel supported, respected, and understood as we work toward meaningful progress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first part of our work together is focused on building a clear understanding of what you are experiencing and what you want from therapy. We talk through your concerns, your goals, and what has or has not worked for you in the past. This helps us create a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored to your needs. Progress in therapy is not rushed. We move at a pace that fits you, and I make sure our work stays focused on what feels most useful and relevant to your life.
