Getting to know Camille Helland

I am a licensed California Marriage and Family Therapist who uses a warm, interactive counseling style with clients who are experiencing a wide range of concerns. Together, we develop goals and solutions for each person's unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling, happier life and take the first steps towards change. What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with individuals, couples and teens. Most of my clients are looking for a safe place to share their stresses and challenges. Many clients are challenged with relationship issues, work issues and everyday pressures. Some of my clients are looking for ways to heal from trauma and work toward moving beyond living in its pain. My goal is to help each client discovering hope and healing using techniques such as CBT, DBT, EMDR and more. In session, I explain each technique and how it works and why it might fit for a particular issue. Most importantly, I offer encouragement and care as I appreciate each person as an individual.
