Getting to know Capri Cruz

Hi, I'm Capri. I knew I was called to be a psychotherapist when I was just 10 years old. Growing up in foster care, I spent decades feeling lost and helpless. At 37, I finally learned how to heal myself, which led me to pursue my passion for helping others. I hold an MA and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor. My clinical training includes working in substance abuse facilities, a psychiatric hospital, and with military and foster children, all of which I've loved. I've also authored books and courses on mental health and healing. Now, I teach how the mind and nervous system work together so you can re-regulate them and transmute old traumas and stress. Together, we will assess your presenting challenges, process your emotional state, problem-solve, and reprogram your subconscious mind with optional hypnosis. My goal is to help you gain greater emotional regulation, locus of control, personal power, resolve inner conflicts, childhood trauma, and identify new life goals. My job is to be non-judgmental in my listening and to provide a safe, trusting environment that brings greater awareness and confidence into your consciousness.
