Cara Koslow, LPC

Psychotherapist
PA
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for offering support through life’s challenges, particularly during the perinatal period. I'm certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, and I specialize in working with individuals facing perinatal depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, birth trauma, psychosis, fertility concerns, and perinatal loss. Other specialties include women’s issues, complex trauma, and healing from emotionally unsafe/toxic relationships. I also enjoy working with young adults as they transition into the next phase of life. My approach to therapy is relational and psychodynamic, which means we’ll look at your current struggles with compassion while also exploring the deeper patterns and experiences that may be shaping them. I'm currently working towards a trauma certification to continue growing in how I support clients who’ve experienced trauma. I believe healing happens in safe, supportive relationships, and I aim to create a space where you feel truly seen and understood. You are not alone. I look forward to helping you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
