Hello, I'm Cara. As a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) in the States of Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, and Arizona, I bring over twenty years of experience to our sessions. Additionally, I am a Nationally Certified Counselor. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients from various walks of life. Whether it's individuals, groups, couples, or emerging adults, I've helped many navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, loss, grief, life transitions, abuse, trauma, and relationship issues. Beyond my clinical practice, I have nine years of experience as an Associate Professor of Psychology, where I taught courses such as Counseling Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Theories of Personality, and Lifespan Development. This academic background enriches my therapeutic approach, allowing me to integrate a broad spectrum of psychological theories and practices into our work together. My therapeutic philosophy centers on getting to know you on a holistic level within a safe and supportive environment.
