Getting to know Carina Scivolette

I believe that you are the expert of your own life. My goal as a therapist is to help you reach your own goals, become un-stuck, and achieve wellness with a strengths-based approach. I’ll help you learn to set boundaries, find balance in your life, and improve relationships while changing the thoughts and behaviors that are no longer serving you. I am passionate about guiding clients as they learn coping skills aimed at healing from trauma, reducing depression and anxiety, building self-esteem, creating a stronger sense of self, and improving their relationships with food and body image.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University prior to completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SUNY New Paltz. I have experience working with high-risk adolescents and their families in a partial hospitalization program, as well as with clients of all ages in a private practice setting.
