Getting to know Carlos Garcia

When you’re navigating anxiety, relationship stress, intimacy or sexual concerns, identity questions, or life transitions, things can start to feel overwhelming very quickly. Therapy can help you reconnect with your inner voice and move toward a more grounded and meaningful way of living. With me, you’ll find a confidential, inclusive, and real space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Our work together is shaped around you, your goals, and what you’re actually experiencing in your life. I’m a Mental Health Counselor and PhD candidate in Clinical Sexology with specialized training in anxiety, identity, sexuality, intimacy, and relationships. I work with individuals and couples navigating communication challenges, conflict, trust issues, infidelity, emotional disconnection, and intimacy concerns using a thoughtful, integrative approach. I work with adults of all genders and sexual orientations. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and offer virtual sessions for clients across Florida.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, weird, or maybe a little nerve-wracking. Many people come in unsure of where to begin, or feeling like they’ve been carrying things on their own for a long time. You don’t have to figure it all out before you start. Just showing up is enough. With me, you’ll find a confidential, inclusive, and real space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Sessions are shaped around you, your goals, and what you’re actually living through. You are not alone in this. I’ll be with you as we sort through emotions, patterns, and next steps together, at a pace that feels thoughtful and meaningful for you.
