Life can feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or family stress start affecting the way you think, feel, and connect with the people around you. You don't have to figure it all out alone. I provide a warm, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we'll identify what's holding you back, build practical tools for managing difficult emotions, and work toward meaningful changes that fit your life—not someone else's idea of how you should feel. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based therapy. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, family conflict, or simply feel stuck, we'll start where you are and work from there. You’ve already taken the hardest step: deciding that something needs to change. Let’s take the next one together. Book a session through Zocdoc to get started.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. My goal is to make the process comfortable, collaborative, and judgment-free from the very beginning. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what you’re going through without feeling criticized or misunderstood. I take the time to listen, understand your story, and work with you—not simply tell you what to do. My approach is supportive and practical, combining evidence-based techniques with a genuine understanding of each person’s unique experiences. Depending on your goals, we may focus on managing anxiety or depression, processing trauma, improving relationships, working through family challenges, building confidence, or developing healthier ways to cope with stress. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just need to be willing to take the first step. We’ll figure out the rest together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work starts with understanding you—what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you want to be different in your life. During our first sessions, we’ll talk about your concerns, your history, your strengths, and the goals you’d like to work toward. Sessions are conversational, collaborative, and focused on what matters most to you. I’ll listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. When appropriate, we’ll also use practical, evidence-based strategies that you can apply between sessions. There is no expectation that you have to tell your entire story all at once. We move at a pace that feels appropriate for you while still working toward meaningful progress. As we continue, we’ll regularly check in on your goals and adjust our approach based on what is working for you. My goal is for you to leave therapy not only feeling heard, but also with greater clarity, confidence, and tools to handle life’s challenges.
