I believe that therapy is about self-reflection and cultivating desired change. My approach is rooted in person-centered and relational therapy, meaning that I believe the therapist-client relationship in itself can foster healing. I have found that I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and early adults, walking alongside them through these sometimes turbulent yet simultaneously exciting stages of development. My clients can expect to feel understood and cared for, learn coping skills and self-compassion strategies, find balance, and overall have a trustworthy space to explore their passions, values, goals, relationships, and their past and present experiences. My counseling style is warm, genuine, collaborative, and relationship-based. While therapy can be difficult at times, I assure you that we will laugh and enjoy this process together!
