“Carly is really patient and listens carefully to every word I say. For someone with pretty intense anxiety like me it’s super important to be heard and understood when I speak with a therapist. She always makes be feel comfortable and knows just how to calm me in my most manic moments. It’s been almost 8 months and I’ve had a tremendous experience, highly recommend! Especially for anyone experiencing a first time in therapy! ”

Getting to know Carly Urbanovich

Hi there, my name is Carly, and I’m an NJ native, mom and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I offer a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel safe to explore what’s holding you back and begin the process of meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based practices to help you build insight and practical tools. In our early sessions, we’ll focus on building trust and understanding your goals. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, grief, trauma, reproductive mental health, emotional ups and downs, or simply feeling stuck, my priority is to meet you where you are and walk with you toward growth and healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am certified in Reproductive Mental Health, as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II). My approach is collaborative, structured, and goal-oriented. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and build skills for emotional regulation. I also base interventions off of each client's individual needs, balancing supportive exploration with practical tools to promote meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

What sets my practice apart is a natural therapeutic instinct that guides how I connect with clients, creating space for honesty, reflection, and lasting change. I practice talk therapy in a virtual setting, and I typically allow my clients to guide the session to foster empowerment and motivation for change.
