Carly is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois, and currently holds her Master’s degree in clinical counseling from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. Carly is currently planning on graduating from Adler University with her Ph.D., sometime in the next year. Trained as an EMDR therapist, Carly is skilled in assisting clients address past trauma or events that occurred from childhood or recent issues. Carly works with individuals who are challenged by anxiety, dissociative disorders, grief, chronic illness, and trauma. She also works with children as young as 7, family therapy, and parent coaching. Carly is also trained to work with dissociative disorders, like PTSD, complex PTSD, and dissociative disorders. She enjoys working with ADHD (children, teens and adults), anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, and self-esteem issues. Carly enjoys using an internal systems approach to assist with alleviation of long-held unhelpful beliefs, thoughts, memories, emotions, etc. Carly is training in the following areas: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, family therapy, Internal Family Systems, expressive therapy, and play therapy (Adlerian play therapy and Child-Centered Play Therapy).
