Carmen is able to be emotionally present for her clients and convey hope and encouragement in their journey. She has worked with people of diverse ages, cultures, issues, and diagnoses. Much of her work has been in Christian counseling, women’s issues, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She has gleaned skills and techniques from various evidence-based therapeutic theories and techniques and applies these in her practice. People seek counseling for many reasons: depression, anxiety, emotional pain, addictions, and/or simple life issues. It is your journey, and Carmen would be privileged to assist you by providing practical tools and/or spiritual insights to help you in your life journey. She also speaks fluent Spanish and welcomes Spanish-speaking clients. You may choose virtual or in-person counseling. Outside of work, Carmen enjoys reading, walking, word games and puzzles, gardening, nature and beauty, piano, writing, art, and travel.
