Getting to know Carmen Maldonado

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from the National University of Singapore. I have offered over 30 years of compassionate, culturally sensitive counseling and resources to clients from various cultures and communities. My passion stems from firsthand experiences, leading me to volunteer with families affected by challenges such as suicidal ideations, domestic violence, sexual assault, grief, and loss. As a Latina, I have worked with a diverse population across different communities, including in New York and California. I have supported clients ranging in age from 3 to 99. My specialties include CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and other approaches as needed. I am flexible and able to adapt to clients’ needs.
