Getting to know Carmen Valentine

Hello, I grew up in a major city and have a passion for helping others. I spent many years in hospitality while working my way through college. My hospitality experience has helped me become customer-oriented, a characteristic I carry into my practice by being prompt to sessions and clearly communicating my therapeutic styles. I have several years of experience in case management and mental health. As a medical case manager, I support clients living with HIV/AIDS, and I’m passionate about helping them realize they are much more than their medical condition. I encourage my clients to find their voices and advocate for themselves in their medical care. It’s awe-inspiring when they are able to articulate their needs during medical visits. I am excited to hear my clients using positive language toward themselves and others, which brings me full circle—I am exactly where I am supposed to be in life. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Temple University, which has further equipped me to support and empower my clients.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge.
