Carol has worked in a variety of work settings providing advocacy and social services to numerous populations. Prior to receiving her graduate degree from Cambridge College, she worked with homeless families, developmentally disabled adults and dually diagnosed individuals. While in graduate school, Carol interned at the Barron Assessment Center in Jamaica Plain seeing youth who had brought a weapon to school, and so were in need of an evaluation and the appropriate interventions prior to return to school.
Upon receiving her graduate degree, Carol worked as an outpatient clinician at a drop-in substance abuse clinic in East Boston. Following licensure, she worked in community mental health settings as well as group practices, most recently having worked for many years at the New Hampshire Correctional Facility for Women providing group, individual treatment and assessment of clients as well as supervision of junior staff. Carol has also worked as a Team Manager of an adult clinical Community Service Program outpatient team at Community Partners in Dover, NH. In this role she assigned clinical cases to the team, as well as provided supervision to clinical staff and interns. While employed at this facility, Carol was also the mental health court liaison for Stafford County.
