Getting to know Carol Parham

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with experience working with children, adults, and couples of various ages who are seeking a positive change. I have served individuals and families in foster care, pre/post adoption placements, as well as adult couples with strengthening communication skills and family bonds. I have been successfully assisting clients with issues relating to anxiety, depression, grief, loss, life adjustments, sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, PTSD, and couples therapy. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration in 2006, a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling in 2010, and a Doctor of Education in Counselor Education and Supervision in 2017. I have been practicing Mental Health Counseling for over 15 years and have worked in different settings including outpatient therapy with clients of all ages. I have obtained additional training and have received the following certifications: Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Adoption Certified Therapist Trainer and Clinician (ACT), and Qualified Supervisor Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Choosing to make a change is a powerful step toward growth and healing. Working with a mental health counselor can provide guidance, support, and strategies to navigate challenges and embrace change.
