Hello, I'm Carol. Finding support or someone to talk to can be overwhelming and confusing, and reaching out for support is a great gift to yourself and is brave. Seeking support for your mental health and well-being can be life-changing and is unique for each person. My focus is with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and/or grief/loss. These experiences may come about from a host of life experiences that include trauma, serious illness, end-of-life issues, caregiver fatigue, life transitions, or the death of a loved one. In our work together, I use strengths-based, collaborative approaches to work toward your goals for well-being and growth. My approach is supportive, reflective, and validating. Exploring your life experiences in a safe space can be transformative. I use a variety of modalities in my practice based on my client's needs and goals. I am well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, narrative approaches, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches. I earned my master's in Social Work in 2017 and have been in clinical practice since 2020. Prior to this, I was an educator for 24 years. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and elders in a variety of settings, most recently in the areas of palliative and hospice care.
