Getting to know Dr. Caroline Frogozo

Life is not easy, especially when you've been dealt a tough hand. Common stressors including work, school, family, health, finances, and more have a major impact on our ability to cope and move through life's challenges. Therapy can provide a safe space to process all that's on your plate and learn how you can better manage your mental health. I hold a Master's and PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University, and I'm here to support you on your wellness journey. Reach out if this sounds like something you're interested in!

What should a new client know about working with you?

All of my experiences were heavily influenced by the many aspects of my identity, which has given me a unique perspective to life and valuable approach to my work as a therapist. This allows me to uplift my clients towards resiliency and self-sustainability while also embracing their identities and even the aspects of life that ignite struggle. This involves challenging clients to challenge themselves, as this is necessary for growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We'll start with addressing concerns within daily life then work our way towards the bigger picture, all at your pace. I approach therapy from more of a cognitive-behavioral lens, but adapt to fit the needs of each individual client as appropriate. If you're feeling uneasy about therapy, that's okay! We can work together to foster an environment where you can work towards your personal goals and relieve some of life's pressures to make that journey a little easier. This is a collaborative experience! Please always ask questions!

Caroline is very empathetic and genuine, she creates a safe and open environment. She’s really culturally aware and I believe she has a great understanding of people who come from all different backgrounds which is rare to find in a provider.
