Dr. Caroline Tisot, PhD

Psychologist
FL
I am a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and Florida, as well as a state and nationally certified school psychologist. I earned my doctorate in school psychology from Temple University and my master’s degree in psychological services from the University of Pennsylvania. For the past 20 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults. Some of my clients have autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and/or ADHD, while others have experienced depression and/or anxiety. I also support individuals dealing with difficult situations, normal life transitions, or job and social issues. Many people struggle to navigate life’s twists and turns. Everyone can benefit from support at times and learn to better cope with life’s challenges. I meet my clients where they are and use a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to their needs. I have received training in many modalities, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and stress reduction. I approach each client holistically, considering physical and psychological functioning as well as environmental supports and stressors. Everyone has strengths and challenges—that is the human experience. I believe successful therapy depends on a solid and trusting relationship between therapist and client. I feel privileged to know my clients as people and have great respect and appreciation for their thoughts and experiences. In addition to individual therapeutic services, I provide psychological assessments and have completed psychological and psychoeducational assessments for the past 20 years. I am also trained in school neuropsychology and have attained diplomate status with the American Board of School Neuropsychology.
