Psychotherapist
TX
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, or a life transition that seems harder to navigate than it should? Perhaps you're exhausted from holding everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling yourself. I work primarily with adult women experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship stress, and major life changes. Many of my clients are insightful, capable women who understand what they "should" do but feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. My approach is supportive, practical, and collaborative. Together, we'll work to understand what's contributing to your distress, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest without judgment and leave each session with greater clarity and confidence. All services are provided virtually for adults throughout Texas. I currently accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, and Baylor Scott & White Health Plan.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can examine your experiences without judgment, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and most importantly, increase your capacity to navigate life's challenges. Together, we will work to better understand recurring patterns, process difficult emotions, and identify factors that may be contributing to the concerns that brought you to therapy. While every client's experience is unique, I approach therapy as a collaborative process focused on insight, self-awareness, and meaningful psychological growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy begins with a comprehensive assessment where we discuss your concerns, relevant history, symptoms, and goals for treatment. Together, we will identify priorities and develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and circumstances. Not everyone begins therapy with clear goals, and that's okay. Sometimes part of the therapeutic process is gaining clarity about what is contributing to distress and identifying what changes would be most meaningful. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and direct. During sessions, we will explore thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be affecting your well-being while addressing barriers to progress and strengthening your ability to manage life's challenges. Treatment goals are reviewed and adjusted as progress is made and new priorities emerge. Sessions are conducted virtually through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform and typically last 45–60 minutes. Confidentiality is a central part of the therapeutic relationship, and I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for open discussion. Crisis sessions may be available when clinically appropriate and scheduling permits.
