Hi! My name is Carolyn Kurtz. I am a Licensed Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am a single mother to a busy toddler! I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Millersville University and obtained my license in the state of Pennsylvania the same year. Professionally, I have experience working with trauma survivors, domestic violence survivors, sexual assault survivors, individuals in recovery from addiction and alcoholism, and those experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. I have worked with families, children, and adolescents in a variety of settings, including in-home care, acute partial hospitalization, outpatient services, shelters, and schools. Additionally, I have supported individuals with developmental, behavioral, and mental health challenges. For the past two years, I have worked in drug and alcohol counseling and have knowledge of the 12-step program, as well as CBT and DBT therapeutic interventions. I hope to have the opportunity to help individuals, families, and couples achieve the best quality of life possible.
