Getting to know Carrie Glebe
I specialize in working with people who grew up in families marked by instability or turmoil. This could stem from addiction, mental health challenges, abuse, neglect, anger, poverty, foster care placement, religious trauma, or any experience that caused trauma. Often, those who grew up in these situations feel responsible or believe they should have fixed it.
You may be struggling with addiction, self-sabotage, self-harm, shame, guilt, co-dependency, the trauma of past abuse, or you may currently be in an abusive situation. Do you find yourself asking, "Why does this keep happening to me?" You know something has to change, but you don’t know how to make it happen. If you are ready for that change, I am here to help guide you on a healing path.
I also specialize in working with adults involved in non-traditional relationships such as kink/BDSM, polyamory, and open relationships. I have experience supporting clients dealing with issues of sexual or gender identity and those belonging to the LGBTQ+ community who want an open-minded, nonconservative therapist.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, effective care tailored to your unique experiences and needs.
