Getting to know Carrie L Frey-Davis

Hi! My name is Carrie, and I have been in the social work field for over 20 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York and my Master's in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. During my career, I have had the privilege to work in a variety of settings, including home and community-based care, hospital settings, and residential and assisted living facilities. I have worked with individuals of all ages, including children, teens, adults, and the elderly. The experiences I have encountered include depression and anxiety, homelessness or financial stressors, medical concerns, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, human trafficking, and trauma. I have also worked with those with intellectual disabilities.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I hope to build rapport and build a solid trusting relationship where one can grow and change. We will work to develop achievable goals and agree on weekly homework to complete each week to maximize the progress.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
