Carrie Rimato, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hi! My name is Carrie, and I live in the Greater Houston area of Katy. I received my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Houston Christian University, formerly HBU. I began my professional education career as a teacher, working in public and private schools for over a decade. When my younger children were school-aged, I went back to school and earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from The King’s University (TKU) in 2018. Since then, I have worked with many different client populations in various settings, including private practice, hospitals, and crisis centers. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family (including our pets), entertaining friends, watching movies, or traveling to beautiful beach destinations. Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, or navigating life transitions? Do you feel that you lack purpose or struggle with your identity? Or perhaps you’re facing unique challenges, processing trauma, or seeking support with interpersonal difficulties, stress, self-esteem, or relationship distress? No matter your background, if you’re ready to take the first step toward a more fulfilling and emotionally balanced life, I am here to support and empower you in a judgment-free space.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I love working with all different types of clients. My counseling passions are working with people from all different backgrounds to help them discover their purpose, and find freedom, peace, and growth by connecting with my clients and meeting them right where they are. My view of therapy is very client-centered. During each session, I will partner with my client to listen, support and empathize to empower my client in a judgment-free zone.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
