Casey Coughlin, LCSW

Psychotherapist
WI
Hello, my name is Casey Coughlin. I have found that I excel at helping individuals who know the outcomes they want to achieve. If you can imagine how you would like to be stronger, or where you might find personal growth, I will likely be able to help you. The work we will do together will require both of us to pull in the same direction. Initially, you may not necessarily know how you want to find your peace, and that is okay. I can help you explore what is attainable and how we can get you there. Finding the right therapist to assist you is very important, and together we can assess if I am the right individual to help you. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Montana, a Master's in Art Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have provided outpatient therapy for a number of years. I am experienced working in a broad range of contexts, and I am comfortable working with almost anybody. I am a licensed clinical social worker, and what I enjoy most about my practice is hearing when I have helped someone grow and work through something difficult.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In your initial sessions with me, I will try to pinpoint specifically what you would like to accomplish. From there, I will work with you to identify barriers to reaching where you want to go, and then we will strategize together on how to realistically remove or overcome these obstacles.
