I am a trauma-informed therapist with many years of experience working with children, youth, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, adversity/stress, trauma, grief/loss, and difficult life transitions. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Barry University. I use a client-centered, integrative approach to support my clients in healing, self-discovery, and growth within their identified goals. I like to begin the therapy journey by truly understanding you and your life story, helping you identify your strengths, and fostering your natural resources. I use a collaborative approach to set goals based on your presenting issues and discuss various treatment options to determine the best approach to reach those goals.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

She creates an environment that is super friendly. She constantly checks in to see if I am comfortable sharing certain information and making sure to use my self care tools after sessions. Super easy to talk to, the sessions fly by.

With just a few sessions and one being an evaluation for my medical certificate for my short term disability claim, Cassandra has gone above and beyond for me from the start. She’s very patient, and genuinely shows compassion any concern for what I’m going through.
I’m looking forward for many regular sessions to work through several things throughout my life. It’s been a long time over due for me to find a therapist (at least 3 that I can count, but it really goes many years past)

I wish I could click even more of the above. It has been a year, since my daughter Hannah, passed away and I have never felt more empowered and comfortable with being so raw and vulnerable with someone as I do with Cassandra, and it has made a world of difference. I know I still have a very long way to go, but Cassandra has been, and I pray will continue to be a source of learning, source of feeling safe, and empowerment over my own future. I never knew that therapy could be this life changing. She is absolutely a blessing, and I am so lucky to have her as my therapist.

I went through a few therapist before finding Cassandra. She is by far the most easiest to talk to, very understanding. And gives off zero judgement. She always provides new ways of thinking and is compassionate about passed traumas and how it’s okay to feel the way I feel.
