My name is Cassandra, I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida, working primarily with women to increase confidence, improve communication, develop healthier relationships, and feel empowered to take control and build the life they want. What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe the most effective approach to therapy looks to find a balance between listening and teaching. I always want to hear and understand more but I also want to explore new patterns of thinking or introduce techniques that might be helpful!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, I like to take the time to learn about who you are as a person, hear more about the challenges you are currently dealing with, and explore any goals you would like to set for yourself while we work together. It is also a great time for you to get to know me, ensure that we are a good fit, and ask any questions you might have.
