What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re used to handling everything on your own. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical—I focus on helping you feel comfortable while also giving you tools you can actually use in your daily life. I work with clients who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, and I aim to create a space where you feel understood without judgment. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start—we’ll make sense of things together at your pace.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll talk through what’s been going on, what’s feeling most difficult, and what you’d like to get out of therapy. From there, we’ll work together to create a plan that feels manageable and tailored to your needs. Sessions are typically a mix of talking through current stressors, identifying patterns, and learning practical strategies to help you feel more in control, reduce anxiety, and improve communication and boundaries. My goal is for therapy to feel both supportive and useful—something that helps you feel better not just in session, but in your everyday life.
