Getting to know Cassey Amburn

Great to meet you! I truly believe that everyone has the capacity to grow, change, and heal. I’m passionate about working with teens, individuals struggling with substance abuse, and underserved populations because I’ve seen firsthand how transformative the healing process can be. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment centers, inpatient and outpatient facilities, and both individual and group therapy. I’ve helped people navigate anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and disruptive behaviors, and I’ve worked closely with essential workers, veterans, and active-duty military populations. I truly believe that we’re all just humans trying to figure out how to "human," and that everyone is worthy of grace, mercy, and belonging. It’s my mission to advocate for those who aren’t able to advocate for themselves right now and to help them find their voice and their path to healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

over the last 5 years I have worked with adolescents, substance abuse, active military, veterans and first responders. This has lead me to an empathetic but direct approach.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I try to create a experience that is warm, inviting, and where you can feel free to be yourself. I want to encourage people to be authentic in any situation.
