Getting to know Catherine Del Toro

Hi there! I am so glad you are here! My name is Catherine Del Toro, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. With over 8 years of experience in the field, I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. While I have worked with a variety of clients, I specialize in anxiety disorders, depression, and substance use disorders. I absolutely love what I do, and I look forward to getting to know you a little better. I am hopeful that, together, we can meet your goals!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first few sessions will include an evaluation and assessment of your needs (or your child’s needs). After several sessions, I will be able to offer you some first impressions of what our work will include and a treatment plan to follow, if you decide to continue with therapy. Each session is scheduled for 50 minutes in length, unless the client (or parent) has requested a 100-minute session (additional fee). Frequency of visitation will be mutually agreed upon as part of your plan of care.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
