Getting to know Catherine Kelce

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with clients via telehealth in California. I received my Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I am certified as a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist through Postpartum Support International. As a therapist, I have worked with many different populations. However, it wasn’t until I became a mother and experienced postpartum depression and anxiety – and later, general burnout from motherhood – that I found my true calling in working with women and parents. I am fiercely passionate about helping women experiencing postpartum mental health issues or struggling with the stress of parenthood. Working with couples in the beginning stages of transitioning into parenthood or those who need some guidance on parenting through different ages and backgrounds of the parenting process has been incredibly rewarding. The effects of therapeutic support during this time are undeniable. I firmly believe that a parent needs to be their best self to care for others. I provide a safe space where you will feel supported to express your feelings and thoughts without feeling judged. We will collaborate to develop an individualized plan that includes learning new coping skills, identifying available support people in your life, and connecting you to resources in your community.
