Getting to know Cathy Arrington

I used to ask myself, "What am I going to do with my life?" Life has a funny way of pointing us in a direction and I followed it. Since 2009, I've been working with individuals, teens, children, families, and couples in a variety of work settings. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2007 from Georgia State University then graduated from Argosy University in 2010 with a Master's Degree in Community Counseling. My experience and support given to me over the years has given me the ability to treat a wide variety of issues from anxiety and depression to marriage and grief. Along the way, I felt so passionate about what I do that I also earned a Marriage and Family Therapy Certificate from Argosy University in 2011 and Gottman Institute Training for Marriage Counseling Levels 1 and 2 in 2016. I offer several methods including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Reality Therapy, Play Therapy (ages 5-16), Solution Focused, Christian perspective upon request, and many others to help you reach your goals!
