Cathy Mcmullen, LCSW

Psychotherapist
MO
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been providing therapeutic services to children and adults with a variety of struggles and mental health disorders since 2015. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in two domestic violence shelters and provided crisis intervention for adolescents and their families. I am committed to assisting those I work with in improving their mental health and quality of life through evidence-based approaches. I have been trained in treatment approaches that include Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mind Body Bridging (MBB), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Aggression Replacement Training (ART), and I am Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed. I look forward to helping you on your mental health journey of acceptance and change. If there is something we can count on… “is that change is inevitable” (John C. Maxwell).

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
