UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I treat symptoms related to career concerns, depression, and relational issues. I love counseling and working with others. I completed my dissertation on the Strong Black Woman (SBW) narrative and have expertise in this area, especially in conversations around well-being, work, and womanhood. I also treat burnout and use a holistic approach to meet clients where they are in their healing journey. I hold a Doctor of Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University.
