Getting to know Cecily Moore

I treat symptoms related to career concerns, depression, and relational issues. I love counseling and working with others. I completed my dissertation on the Strong Black Woman (SBW) narrative and have expertise in this area, especially in conversations around well-being, work, and womanhood. I also treat burnout and use a holistic approach to meet clients where they are in their healing journey. I hold a Doctor of Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University.

I am passionate about counseling and helping others.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use a non-judgmental, humanistic approach. I also like to make sure that I am going at the clients pace so that the work does not feel overwhelming.
