Celena Benjamin, LMHC

Psychotherapist
VT
I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of The South. Over the past 24 years, I have worked with clients to help them process and work through individual challenges. Some of these have included ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety, life changes, parenting problems, relationship issues, career challenges, and self-injurious behavior. I would like for us to start with some of the areas you feel are your strengths. In our first session, I want to learn more about you so we can build on previous successes and help break down any barriers you may be facing. You have already taken the first step by reaching out for help, and I am very interested in working with you. Please take a moment to look at my calendar—I hope to have a time slot that works for you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am very interactive. Much of therapy begins with understanding your own coping styles, strengths, skills and boundaries. I will work with you on strengthening different skills in order for you to make changes in your environment and life. My style includes a lot of listening and questioning to help keep you focused on your treatment goals and developing different action plans. It is necessary to make changes in the environment to make improvements in relationships, heal from trauma, grow and become empowered. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I look forward to working with you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
