Hello, I’m Celest and I am so happy you are here. I want to share a little about myself to help you feel more comfortable. Professionally, my background includes experience helping people navigate difficult mental health conditions, neurological disorders, chronic illness and those on hospice care. All of this deeply shapes my approach to 1:1 therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am compassion forward and use an eclectic approach pulling from several therapeutic styles. Humanistic, feminist, somatic, narrative, existential, cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and emotion-focused to name a few. I’d love to get to know you and explore whether we’re a good fit. If so, we’ll begin building a safe, grounded space where you can process your experiences, name your feelings, reflect on your unique worldview and find ways to live out your values.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll spend time exploring what brought you here—your experiences, concerns, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. That may take up most of our time, and that’s okay. Before we wrap up, we’ll briefly go over what to expect from the therapy process and set an intention or goal to carry with you between sessions.
