My clinical training includes internships at UCSF Psychiatry and UCSF Cancer and Brain Tumor centers. I completed my Master’s in Social Work (Clinical track) at Boston University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. I completed my undergrad with a BS in Psychology from the University of Georgia. I knew from high school that I wanted to work in the mental health field and began with volunteer work where I visited women with trauma experiences in prison, co-facilitated therapy groups in substance use recovery programs, and mentored teens. In my master's program internships, I supported patients and their families through terminal cancer, and worked with the unhoused, and those struggling with mental health and addiction. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being out in nature, and dancing like nobody’s watching :). I appreciate adventures and I also enjoy my quiet time with a good book and a cup of coffee. I love all things science and enjoy listening to podcasts.
