Getting to know Celeste West

Whether it is drawing, sand tray, or games, I love to use creative means to help clients become more in touch with their emotions and find healing. Not everyone knows the words to convey what they are feeling, so I aim to provide an outlet and be a conduit for clients as they express themselves and build their self-esteem in a safe space. I received my bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University in Family Life and received my Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy at Converse College, where I also completed a Play Therapy track. Since receiving my degrees, I have become a Registered Play Therapist‚Ñ¢ and a Certified First Play Kinesthetic Practitioner. I am trained in various therapy models, including Internal Family Systems, Experiential, Solution Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. I am comfortable working with kids, teens, and adults, with a wide range of problems, including anxiety, trauma, depression, parenting, self-esteem, and ADHD. In my free time, I like to draw, play the piano, take my daughter to parks and the library, and go exploring. I love animals and though I have no pets, I dream of owning my own personal petting zoo.
