Getting to know Celina Deal

It is incredibly important for an individual's emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical components to work well together. I intend to approach every client from a holistic, person-centered, and emotionally focused framework to reach their goals. I enjoy walking alongside individuals and couples as they navigate trauma, relationship challenges, transitions, anxiety, and depression. With specialized training in The Gottman Method for Couples Therapy and EMDR for trauma, I bring evidence-based approaches to my work with clients. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples strengthen their relationships, heal from past wounds, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. I often integrate attachment theory and emotionally focused therapy (EFT) to help clients understand how early experiences shape present emotions and relationships. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).

What should a new client know about working with you?

I like to get to know my clients very well before using any specific approach. However, I enjoy incorporating attachment styles with emotionally focused therapy. While we are focusing on the present, I like to reflect on childhood experiences and how they impact a person in adulthood. Your goals become more achievable the more you understand yourself. If you have goals of creating a better understanding of your emotions, relationships, and needs then I would love to journey alongside you during the process.
