Therapy can be a sacred undertaking—one that calls for openness and the courage to show up, not just in words, but through the steady, embodied demonstration of your commitment to personal growth. I work with individuals drawn to explore the deeper layers of their psyche, especially those navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar experience, or spiritual emergence. Rooted in depth psychology, I see symptoms as messages from the unconscious—feedback pointing toward what’s been forgotten or disowned. As Jung noted, individuation is rarely a gentle path; it involves suffering, disruption, and humility. Wherever you are today, the only time is now. This isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about reclaiming your relationship to self through acceptance, self-love, and forgiveness. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience, I draw from a wide range of approaches—CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Reality Therapy, and depth psychology—to meet each client where they are. I’ve worked in crisis response for 9 years, which has taught me how to stay present and attuned, even in high-stress moments. Sessions often go deep, helping you slow down and become a witness to your process. Whether you're working through trauma, mood changes, or life transitions, I believe healing begins when we stop fighting ourselves and learn to let go, feel fully, and grow with intention.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When comfort becomes complacency, something deeper calls for attention. Therapy becomes a space to meet that call—an invitation into ownership, presence, and meaningful change. Within a safe therapeutic container, what arises in the moment can be held with compassion, vulnerability, and embodiment. A daily mindfulness practice can begin to take root. Coping skills are integrated and applied in and out of session. Commitment to self-love is demonstrated consistently—regardless of external outcome—through actions rooted not in force or resistance, but in alignment and attunement. Drawing from direct, experiential methods like Gestalt, Reality Therapy, and REBT, the work supports those ready to live in the present moment—the here and now. The attention you bring shapes the depth of what becomes possible. Communication in therapy is grounded in authenticity, openness, and acceptance of what is emerging in the here and now. A heart-centered yet direct approach helps create a space that is both compassionate and empathic. Sessions are intuitive and insight-oriented, often exploring projections, relational patterns, and the undercurrents and inferences that shape the therapeutic dialogue. Applying coping skills consistently helps support heightened clarity and discernment in daily life. Careful attention is given to nuance, specificity, and detail, while also sublimating the tension of the opposites in healthier, more constructive ways. This work invites a deeper commitment to one’s learning process—with love, light, ease, and grace. Go slow to go fast. Boundaries provide safety. Align and attune to your rhythm and timing. Love yourself regardless of outcomes.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My path into therapy follows the arc of the Hero’s Journey—not as the invincible warrior, but as the Wounded Healer. I was shaped by old Eastern European stories, where trials initiate transformation and the underworld holds hidden wisdom. As an immigrant, I’ve known the disorientation of cultural rupture, the loss of voice, and the quiet grief of forgetting who you are. Military service taught me structure and survival, but it was the long return that asked me to reckon with the parts of myself I had left behind. The wounds we carry often become the very compass that guides us. Mine led me into the depths: through fragmentation, through silence, through the aching gap between what is and what longs to be. I found healing in imagination, in grief made sacred, and in the slow integration of what had been exiled. Therapy, to me, is a sacred space where we relinquish the ego’s agenda and grow our capacity to stay present—to increase our ability to remain steady, even as those around us lose their way—as Kipling wrote, “and blame it on you.” Together, we track the symbols, sift the ashes, and listen for the voice that’s been waiting patiently to return.
