What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a laid back and non-judgemental space to explore your issues that will be met with compassion and the support you need to establish goals for your therapy. We usually spend the first session or two getting to know one another and developing a wholistic picture of what is troubling you. I believe an awareness of where and how problems arise are helpful as is exploring their impacts on your current functioning and relationships. I like to use all manner of tools to help you in this process from talking, written self reflection, sharing videos and resources - whatever might help you to reflect on your current situation, process your thoughts and feelings and then move toward healing and progress.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
