“I've been seeing Chante for several months, and she has been absolutely amazing. She listens attentively, is a great problem solver, remains nonjudgmental, and genuinely cares about her patients. Before meeting her, I thought therapy wasn’t for me based on my previous experiences, but she completely proved me wrong. If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, she would undoubtedly deserve it.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

At the onset of the therapeutic process, I focus on building rapport with my clients and better understand their needs. I also support clients in establishing goals for our time together. I tell my clients that they lead the way, as they are the experts on their lives and needs. I will serve as a guide, support, and accountability partner.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I practice using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Somatic Therapy. During sessions we focus on identifying thoughts that are impacting your feelings and behaviors. We also focus on problem solving and skill building to manage issues and mental health symptoms. I utilize questioning to help my clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their situation. You are the expert on you and I am there to guide, support, and encourage. Somatic Therapy practices are usually provided as homework to help you get in touch with your body and how what you are experiencing shows up in your body.
