Do you find yourself struggling with everyday life? Do you feel depressed, discouraged, anxious, or even overwhelmed? We all face these issues, but few have the tools needed to overcome and move forward. With the skills and training I have developed over the years, I have helped individuals meet their personal goals while overcoming obstacles. My primary goal with each client is to establish a strong therapeutic relationship based on their unique cultural and life experiences. I enter the therapeutic journey with curiosity and strive to provide clients with a safe and non-judgmental environment. I can help you identify feelings, emotions, and characteristics that damage your soul and well-being. Expect the therapist to use modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused, Positive Parenting Education (Triple P Program), Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Trauma-Informed. I believe that achieving wellness is obtainable. I want to preserve the client's dignity and promote growth on their path within the therapy process. Most importantly, cultural diversity and sensitivity to all people are imperative. If you’re struggling to cope with life changes, I can help you navigate these feelings and offer a path forward.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I help clients view problems differently and encourage them to think more positively. If a client has a negative thought, it can lead to a negative emotion, which can lead to unhealthy behaviors. I assist in the decrease of depression symptoms, and most clients see a difference in functioning within the first couple of months of treatment. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions, experiences, and outcomes. During treatment, I'll help you explore how to develop skills to build resilience against those thoughts that cause issues.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
