Charleen Sproles, LPC

Psychotherapist
MS
Hi there, I'm Charleen! I believe counseling is a place where people can slow down, feel understood, slow down, and begin making sense of the experiences that have shaped their lives. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where clients can be honest about where they are while developing the insight and skills needed to move forward. My focus I work primarily with adults over the age of 18. I have worked extensively with women of all ages to help support them in every stage of life. My approach I approach each client as an individual in a non judgmental manner and we work on goals and issues that are important to you. I use an integrative, personalized approach to counseling that help reduce distress, shift unhelpful patterns and build healthier ways of thinking and responding. My communication style My communication style is open, honest and client focused. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been a helper and was drawn to the helping profession of counseling when I was in college and needed someone to talk with about life and I was in need of direction. I found a caring counselor who was able to help me see my potential. I pursued the counseling profession over 30 years and it has been the greatest joy of my life. My goals for you We work together to set goals based on each client's needs. Our first session Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to counseling. It is completely normal to be nervous; I am here to put you at ease and we work together- at your pace!
