What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania who specializes in Complex Trauma/PTSD and family/relationship issues because I enjoy working with clients who have experienced hardships/trauma. I meet my clients where they are and help assist them in meeting their individualized needs and expectations. I have worked with a variety of backgrounds, populations, and diagnoses, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and non-substance related addictions (gambling, sex, porn, etc). I work with adults and adolescents. I am a Person Centered therapist who incorporates CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and other interventions into our sessions including anxiety relieving strategies. I provide support and validation for my clients in whatever their life struggles may be. I believe in helping others as others have helped me in the past. This drives my passion to specialize in PTSD and Trauma, so that I can help with the effects of these diagnoses in my clients. I enjoy helping my clients learn to live a happy, meaningful, and successful life. I help clients make connections to past experiences, to present behaviors and how we can change future behaviors.
