Charles Blickle, LMHC, LPC

Psychotherapist
SC
I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of the individuals I support feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or are struggling with patterns that developed from difficult past experiences. They often want to better understand themselves, improve relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges. I have a particular interest in working with men who are navigating emotional stress, relationship difficulties, personal growth, and the impact of past experiences. I believe many people carry burdens they have never had the opportunity to process, and therapy can provide a place to explore those experiences while developing practical skills for moving forward. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina. I earned my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida. My professional experience includes working with adults and older adults in community mental health, housing support services, and private practice settings. My approach is collaborative and individualized. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapeutic techniques based on each client's needs and goals. I respect each person's values, beliefs, and background. For clients who wish to incorporate Christian faith into counseling, I am open to integrating faith-based perspectives into our work together. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients can gain insight, develop practical tools, and work toward meaningful personal growth.
