Lawson Bost is both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Professional Counselor who has been practicing since 2016. He graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, focusing on Sexual Health. Lawson believes that for real change to happen, you must feel safe and secure while “walking through” challenging experiences. By being curious and courageous, change of any kind is possible. His interventions vary but are always based on a client-centered approach. At the end of the day, feeling and believing you are safe to be who you are is Lawson’s number one priority. His main areas of focus include working with families as a whole or with individuals, gender and sexuality across the lifespan, and addressing feelings of being stuck related to anxiety, depression, and maladaptive behaviors. In his spare time, Lawson enjoys getting “lost” in the wilderness, going on adventures with his family, CrossFit, and mountaineering to high peaks.
