Hello, I'm Charles. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with 18 years of professional work experience. I have helped people with problems like coping with addictions, relationship issues, intimacy-related issues, & anger management. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Winston Salem State University in 2002. Then I obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling with specializations in Guidance and Clinical Mental Health from Argosy University in 2007. Next, I earned my Doctor of Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University in 2023. I have been practicing independently as a therapist since 2011 and have worked in several settings, including outpatient therapy, inpatient (hospitalization), employee assistance, community-based programs, school counseling, and private practice. Together, we will develop a comprehensive treatment plan based on a holistic approach that emphasizes best practices techniques from CBT, Humanistic theory, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you learn the tools you need to help you reach your therapeutic goals.
