Hello! I'm Charlie (she/her). My goal as a therapist is to support, guide, and encourage you toward stronger relationships with others and a better understanding of yourself. I work with both individuals and couples. My approach to therapy is eclectic and includes mindfulness, feminist, cognitive behavioral, existential, and humanistic modalities. Anyone is welcome in my therapy room, but I connect best with people who are eager to put in the necessary work to become the best, most self-actualized version of themselves. I'm passionate about working with survivors of interpersonal trauma. I'm also currently pursuing my AASECT certification to become a certified sex therapist and enjoy working with people exploring their identity or unlearning harmful cultural norms around sexuality. I enjoy working with people in non-traditional relationships and with LGBTQIA+ folks. I believe that successful therapy depends on a strong therapeutic relationship and strive to create an environment where my clients can feel safe to be their most authentic selves. I have a strong belief in breaking down the traditional power dynamic of client-therapist and view therapy as a partnership in which we will work together to ease suffering, equip you with the tools you need to function day to day, and work toward your goals, whatever they may be. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver, which has equipped me with a solid foundation to support my clients effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After our intake session, we will discuss what your goals are for therapy and what you hope to get out of it. Treatment planning is a collaborative process focused on your personal goals. From there, we'll start to dig into each goal you've set and work towards you living a life that is in line with your values and making decisions that get you closer to your goals. Because most of the progress made in therapy happens outside of the therapy room, I tend to assign "homework" for clients to work on in between sessions.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
