Hi! I’m Charlie. My journey into the mental health field began with my own struggles in early adulthood. I battled severe anxiety and depression, and my search for support was often met with dismissiveness, inaccessibility, or clinical coldness. That experience left a lasting impression and ultimately became the driving force behind my decision to become the kind of therapist I once needed—someone warm, compassionate, and real. Today, I have the privilege of helping people from all walks of life navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and addiction. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, welcoming, and even light-hearted when appropriate. I believe humor and human connection are powerful tools in the healing process, and I work collaboratively with clients as a team working toward better mental health. My background in Emergency Medical Services also gives me a unique understanding of the mental health needs of first responders and veterans—communities I deeply respect and care for. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in Kentucky, with a Master’s in Human Services and Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College. I’m also nationally certified (NCC) and trained in CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and more. My approach is flexible, evidence-based, and tailored to the individual. It would be an honor to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
